Jeffery Stewart

December 31, 1987 — March 8, 2021

Jeffery “Jeff” Alan Stewart passed on to a new life of freedom and happiness with God on March 8, 2021 in Schertz, Texas at the age of 33. He was born on December 31, 1987 at Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas, to parents, Colleen Marie McNealy and Billy Eugene Stewart.

Jeff graduated from St.Anthony’s Catholic Highschool and had many interests. He was passionate about his love of animals, especially Ripley and Sadie, and was over all very compassionate towards all creatures. His hobbies were keeping up with crypto currency and crypto technology, playing guitar, music, disc golf, food, movies, movie quotes, nature and gardening. Jeff took pleasure in the simplest of things of life. As long as he had his guitar and his dog by his side, he was happy. Quoting movies that he loved was something that always brought a smile to everyone’s face. He often said “that’s some ivory tower sh*t” when he thought something was excessive or unnecessary; always making you laugh and think. Jeff could make anyone laugh, even in the hardest of times. He was one of the strongest people we knew and have ever had the honor of knowing. His ability to be bold in the face of any trial or tribulation is an example for us all. Jeff had a spirit that was fierce in its convictions. He looked out for others and always gave as much as he could, no matter how little he had.

Jeff is survived by his parents, Billy and Colleen Stewart; brother, Ryan Michael Stewart; sister, Toni Marie Stewart; niece, Jovie Marie Stewart; pets, Ripley aka “Doodle Bean” and Sadie “Sadie Lady”.

Jeff was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00AM on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma, Texas in interment to follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery #2. After the burial, a reception will take place at Schertz VFW Post 8315 (located at 1000 FM 78 in Schertz Texas 78154).
