Winniefred Ward
October 31, 1942 — April 24, 2012
Winniefred Carlene Parsley Ward was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was born on October 31, 1942 and passed away on April 24, 2012, at the age of 69. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Edward Parsley and her mother, Winnie Catherine Parsley Lawrence, brothers, Danny Parsley, Michael G. Lawrence, and Jimmy Lawrence; niece, Kendal Maree Lawrence, and brother-in-law, Don E. Brown. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Edward L. Ward; daughters, Amy Ward Nickson and her husband, Freddie Jr., and Lisa L. Ward Hutchens and her husband, John; brothers, Thomas Edward Parsley and his wife, Jeanne, and Kenneth Lawrence; sisters, Patricia Brown, Sue Brueggeman and her husband, Jim, and Judy Moon and her husband, Jerry; granddaughter, Isliana Jimenez; grandsons, Zachary Jimenez, Freddie Nickson III, and Ian Hutchens; sister-in-law, Kathryn Parsley; 17 nieces and nephews and 25 great nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Winniefreds Life will take place on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 11:00AM, at the Universal City United Methodist Church, Lay Minister Lenny Dagg officiating. All services will conclude at the church.
