William Weatherly

October 21, 1938 — August 11, 2009

William (Bill) G. Weatherly was called home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 11, 2009. He was born on October 21, 1938. He grew up from humble beginnings and served his country in the United States Army from 1957-1960. He married his elementary school sweetheart, Nancy Elaine Tewell, on February 9, 1958 and celebrated 50 years of marriage this year. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle by loving through action and his soft words of wisdom and encouragement. In love, Bill impacted his family, friends, colleagues, coworkers and countless others through his servant leadership. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Universal City and was brought great joy singing in the choir. Bill leaves behind his loving wife, Nancy of 50 years, sons Scott and Seth Weatherly of San Antonio, TX, Kim Kaiser of Parker, CO, brothers Doug and Robert Weatherly, sister Mary Jane Smith, step father Herman Hofacker, 7 grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Weatherly and mother, Flora Hofacker. Memorial Service will be held Saturday August 15, 2009 at 1:00pm at First Baptist Church of Universal City. In lieu of flowers Bill would like you to make a donation to cancer research or to love and encourage a family member or coworker.
