MSGT William Edward Page, USAF retired, born August 21, 1948 in Douglas, GA, passed away on July 10, 2021 in St. Hedwig, TX at the age of 72, after a long battle with prostate cancer due to agent orange.
He was the son of the late Ruby Tanner Page and Nathan Hubert Page of Savannah, GA. Ed is preceded in death by his son, William E. Page, Jr. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force and was in the Vietnam war in Phucat Vietnam 1968-1969, 37 th combat support group, 819 th Red Horse Squadron.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Elisa C. Page and two children Alan Page (Christina Clark) and Terrie Noll, also two sisters, Verna (Gary) Arkwood, Ivy Kovach; two brothers Ronald (Judy) Page and Tom (Fran) Page. He also has four grandchildren, Aiden Page, Paxton Page, Hudson Page and Taylor Gartland. William was a loving husband, father a caring grandfather and brother and a loyal friend.
A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021, 11:00am at the Schertz Funeral Home chapel, the family will receive friends starting at 10:00am.
