1953-2010 William 'Mark' Massengale W. Mark Massengale, 56, passed away unexpectedly in his home in Corpus Christi on March 3rd, 2010. W. Mark Massengale was born on March 24th,1953 in Odessa, Tx. He was the youngest son of five children born to William and Ada Massengale. He served in the United States Navy from 1973-1977 and went on to become a very well respected aircraft mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Nora Massengale, Roswell, NM, sons; Jordan (Cathy) Massengale, Cibolo, Tx and Caleb Massengale, Poway, Ca and step-son, Jason Torres. He is further survived by his sisters; Priscilla Smith, Odessa, Tx and Kathy Hollis, Rio Rancho, NM as well as many nieces and nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ada Massengale, as well as two brothers; Jerry & Jevon Massengale. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 9th at 12:00pm at the Schertz Funeral Home in Schertz, Tx, and will be follows by an Honorable Military Burial at Fort Sam Houston. The family will also receive friends from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Monday, March 8th at the funeral home.
