William Maher

William (Bill) E. Maher went to be with the Lord on November 23, 2016 in Universal City, TX at the age of 72. He was born to Edward M. Maher and Dorthea P. Maher on July 31,1944 in New Haven Connecticut. He is preceded in Death by his parents Edward M. Maher and Dorothea P. Maher . He is survived by Wife Sheryl Maher, sons Stephen Maher and Chris Maher and wife Kristin, Stepson Johnnie Green and wife Christa and Stepdaughter Kelly Day and husband Sam. As well as 5 grandchildren, Monica Maher, Stephanie Maher, Jaclyn Maher, Piper Maher and Tipper Maher, 1 great grandchild Jose Maher, and 5 step grandchildren and many close family friends. Bill served proudly in the United States Air Force retiring after 23 years. He was a man of character, conviction and a lion heart, strong yet gentle, fierce yet mild and for 72 years the Lord let us borrow one of his Angels to love. Even though he is gone from our sight, he will never be gone from our hearts.
