William Grimmer

MSGT William "Bill" Grimmer RET USAF was born on October 10, 1958, passed away on July 14, 2017 at the age of 58. Bill proudly served in the United States Air Force for 21 years; he was stationed at Keesler AFB, Randolph AFB, and Air Force Academy in Colorado. Bill also had the privilege to serve overseas in Guam and the Philippines. Wherever Bill traveled he always made new friends or was connecting with friends from his past but he kept his favorite companion Jim Beam close by. He is preceded in death by his son, William R Grimmer; brother, Dale Grimmer. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Donna Grimmer; daughters, Amanda Grimmer, Jody Grimmer; step-daughter, Christy Daly; grandchildren, Kaleigh Grimmer, Madison Grimmer, Adrian Guajardo, Zackary Cronin, Tommy, Jason and Jasper; parents, Don and Delores Grimmer; sister, Carole Olejniczak and husband Hank; brothers, Marc Grimmer and wife Libby, M. Scott Grimmer and wife Joyce; sister-in-law, Trish Grimmer; step-sisters, Kathy and Linda; step-brother, Don, Greg and Jim; 7 neices and 1 nephew. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 9:00AM-1:00PM at Schertz Funeral Home with a graveside service immediately following at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:45PM with Military Honors.
