William Cartwright

March 6, 1944 — June 24, 2015

William David Cartwright, born on March 6, 1944, passed away on June 24, 2015 at the age of 71. William served in the United States Air Force from 1962 till 1983; he then worked in civil service until his retirement from Randolph Air Force Base. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Cartwright; sisters, Nancy Elliot and husband Paul, Betty Otthoff and husband Ed; brothers and sisters in laws, Arnold and Gloria Katzer, Mike and Schirleen Weller, John and Dorothy Pantuso, David and Carolyn Lukash; nephews and nieces, Dallas Katzer, J and Tanya Baird, Scott and Darla Stevens, Kyle and Tiffany Kuhlman, Lillian Dempster, Kristie Weller, Michael Weller Jr., Brandie Pantuso, John Pantuso III, Lydia Pantuso, Nelson Pantuso, Melissa Katzer; great nephews and nieces, Morgan and Tanner Baird, Hunter and Brooke Stevens, Cheyanne and Barrett Kuhlman, Landen Dempster, Juntae Alex; son, Arthur Cartwright, and wife Vera; daughter, Sylvia Canoot; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the Schertz Funeral Home from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015, at 10:00 AM, at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with United States Air Force Honors.
