Walter Hernandez- Fermain, born January 27, 1950 in Arecipo, Puerto Rico, passed away on May 16, 2012, at the age of 62, in San Antonio, Texas. He is survived by is wife Myrna Hernandez, children; Angelo Walter Hernandez and Miguel Luis Hernandez, granddaughter Nala T. Hernandez, brothers; Carmelo, Lester, Eddie, and David, sisters; Vivian, Ivette, and Yvonne, nieces; Lisa, Gisele, Celi, and Gisele, nephews; Jason, Angel, and Joseph. He proudly served in the US Army and US Marine Corps., after which he became a supervisor for the New York City criminal justice system. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2012, 10:00am, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
