Virginia Haag

July 7, 1925 — September 13, 2015

Virginia Riedel Haag was born on July 7, 1925, passed away on September 13, 2015 at the age of 90. Virginia grew up in a time where hard work and perseverance was needed to survive. She married her lifetime love, LeRoy Haag, 6 months after she met him and that is when life truly started. They built a home and raised a family. Then she got her title in which everybody knew and loved her by, "Oma". Oma is preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy; son-in-law, Lawrence. Her memory lives on in her family, daughter, Emelie; grandchildren, Lawrence with girlfriend Shannon, Crystal with husband Paul. She was blessed to have two beautiful great-grandchildren to have known and loved her, Fallyn and Madelyn. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, but the world is a better place for having had her. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 5:00PM-9:00PM with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00PM at Schertz Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 10:30AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with interment to follow at Selma Cemetery #1.
