Virginia Featherstone

October 6, 1930 — January 27, 2011

Virginia Arnold Featherstone, of San Antonio, TX went to be with the Lord on January 27, 2011 at the age of 80. She was preceded in death by her parents; Jack & Thelma Arnold, husband of 57 years, Edward Eugene Featherstone. Virginia is survived by children; Edward E. Featherstone, Jr. of Marion, TX, Thelma Lynn Featherstone Kloss of San Antonio, TX; siblings, JoAnn St Ana of Reno, NV, Edward Glenn Arnold & wife, Brenda Gayle; niece, Victoria; nephews, Shane and Shad; grandchildren, Taylor Lynn Kloss Weeks & husband, Mark of Dallas, TX, Travis Todd Kloss of Austin, TX; great-grand daughter, Sterling Day Weeks of Dallas, TX. Virginia worked as the kindergarten teacher for First Baptist Church in Schertz. She shared her love of music by being a pianist at First Baptist Church of UC. Later, Virginia was the secretary at First Baptist Church in Schertz and then also at Parkway Baptist Church. She enjoyed being a friend, a mother and grandmother. Visitation will be held from 7:30 PM until 9:30 PM on Friday, January 28, 2011 at Schertz Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Holy Cross Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 11:00 AM First Baptist Church of Universal City. The family would like to express their gratitude to Arden Court, Vitas and all of their mother's loving care givers for all of their love and care over the last 3 years.
