Violet Grote

May 6, 1929 — December 15, 2018

Violet "Ruth" Grote passed peacefully in the early morning of December 15, 2018 at the age of 89. Violet was born in Paint Rock, Texas on May 6, 1929.

Violet was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Mary New. She is survived by her husband, Floyd H. Grote; son, Kyle Grote; granddaughters, Natalie and Chelsea Grote.

She was a devoted member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Grote Cemetery in Selma, Texas.
