Victor Keller

Victor Julius Keller, age 91, died on Saturday, April 27th, 2019 at his daughter's home in Waxahachie, Texas. This followed a brief hospital stay where he was being treated for a hip fracture; preceded by years of debilitating illness that robbed him of his memories and mobility.

Victor was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1927, one of twin sons born to Dora and Julius Keller. Victor grew up in San Antonio and attended Harlandale High School. After a short stint in the Army/Air Force he married Emerjean Hodge of Orange, Texas and made their home in San Antonio. Victor was a carpenter by trade and a member of the Carpenters Local 14 for 62 years and worked on many recognizable buildings in the city. After his call into the ministry he served several churches in Kerrville, El Campo and most recently San Antonio. He retired from Calvary Apostolic in 2003.

Victor is preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and two brothers and leaves behind his loving wife of 66 years, four daughters: Vicki (husband Dale), Doris (husband Howard), Glenda (husband Vincent), and Judy (husband Michael), grandsons: Bradley, Andrew, Christopher, Joshua, Joseph, and David, granddaughters: Amberly, Julianne, April, and Michelle, and four great-grandchildren: Ashton, Jonathan, Grayson, and Isla.

Funeral services will be held at Calvary Church, 3423 N. Loop 1604 E. in San Antonio, Saturday, May 4th, 2019 at 6:00 pm. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at 10:00 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
