Vernon Collison Reilly, age 89, passed away on April 2, 2018 in Schertz, Texas. He was born on January 4, 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Lois Reilly; and daughters, Dolores Cabaza and Patricia Lambert. Vernon is survived by daughters, Jacqueline Nuffer & husband Daniel, and Dawn Reilly-Watkins; step-son, Richard Wayne Lavender; and grandchildren, Ashley Nuffer, Randy Reilly, Barry Reilly-McMahan and Dolores Reilly-Watkins. Vernon spent much of his life proudly serving his country. He retired with 30 years of service between the Navy and Air Force. He enjoyed playing darts, spending time at the VFW, as well as drinking Budweiser and Guinness Stout.
A Graveside Service, with full military honors, will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
