Vaughn Morgan

July 9, 1939 — March 3, 2009

Vaughn LaVere Morgan was born July 9, 1939 in Lorenzo, Idaho. He returned to our Heavenly Father on March 3, 2009 at the age of 69. He was eternally optimistic and loved life. No one ever met him and walked away without a smile. He served in the Navy and had a long career as a civilian with the Air Force. He loved traveling, playing with his grandchildren, and spending time doing anything with his wife. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nello and Mary Morgan; his brother Nello Morgan, Jr. ; his oldest son, Robert Scott Morgan. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Perry Morgan, his son Jeffrey LaVere Morgan, and wife Jacque with their girls Mackenzie, Mallory, Marissa, Madisson, and Macey. Also, daughter Jennifer Morgan Neale and husband Bruce and children, Braeden, Rael, and Eli. His brothers and sisters will greatly miss him; Marvella (husband Dale), Wilma (husband Bill), Rayland (wife Donna), Dean (wife Annette), and Shanna (husband Leland). Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM Friday, March 6, 2009 and a Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 PM, both at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel in Schertz, Texas. He will be laid to rest in Deweyville, Utah beside his eldest son, Robert. The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the charity of your choice.
