Valerie Jo Justice, born on March 29, 1958, in El Paso, TX, passed away on March 15, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Leonore Farris, and her brother, Kevin Brent Farris and sister, Emma Wilson.
Valerie is survived by her brothers Marshall Scott Farris, Richard Randall Farris, sister Sandra Ann Hickox, and her five children: Everett Farris and his wife Antoinette Farris, Michelle Farris and spouse Fredd Young, Michael Farris and his wife Diana Farris, Lehman Justice, and Andrew Farris. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Marshall Bliven, Taylor Brinks-Bliven, Matthew Young, Monroe Young, Mason Farris, Peyton Farris, Marcus Farris, and Luke Farris.
Valerie dedicated her career to serving and protecting others, retiring from the Border Patrol in Las Cruces as a trailblazer—the first female Border Patrol agent in her area. She carried that same strength and passion into her personal life, always putting family first.
She had an adventurous spirit and a heart full of love, traveling all over to support her grandchildren in their sports and activities, always their greatest cheerleader. Known for her sweetness, kindness, and generosity, Valerie treated everyone as family, ensuring no one ever felt alone.
Her unwavering love and selflessness touched the lives of many, and her presence will be deeply missed. The impact she made on her family and friends will live on forever.
Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 6 pm, there will be a visitation with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7 pm.. The Funeral Mass will begin Friday at 11 am. Following the Funeral Mass, we will meet at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
