TSgt Joseph M. Joe Moore, United States Air Force, (Ret.) and World War II Veteran, born on March 10, 1923, passed away on December 19, 2012, at the age of 89. While in the Air Force, Joe received such honors as the Air Force Longevity Service Award with 4 Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters and the Good Conduct Medal with 1 Silver Loop. After retirement from the Air Force, Joe worked for Civil Service at Randolph AFB another twenty years. During his Civil Service years, he coached boys in Pop Warner Football, Little League Baseball, and Basketball. He was also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus. His parents, John E. and Catherine A. Moore, and his wife, Patricia Louise Moore, preceded him in death. Survivors Include his children, Sharon L. Moore of Schertz, Texas, Robin D. Bohannon of Oklahoma City, OK, Joseph M. Moore, Jr. of San Antonio, TX, and John E. Moore of Schertz, TX; grandchildren, Jasmine, Sara, Jeremy, Rebekah and Gabriela. A Funeral Mass will be held at Randolph AFB, Chapel 1, at 9:30A.M. on December 28, with private interment to follow at 1:00P.M. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
