Toni Elizabeth Jacobsen of Kenedy, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 27th, 2022, at the age of 61. She was born on August 5th, 1960, to Richard Lee, Sr. and Loretta Marie Donat.
Toni grew up as one of four children. At 5 years old, they moved from San Antonio to her family’s farm property in Floresville. As a kid, her parents would take her and her siblings all around San Antonio to visit their many cousins. As a teenager, Toni loved her Pink Firebird and was quite good at driving it.
She graduated from Floresville High School in 1978, after graduating she worked in accounting at Bluebonnet Ford, then worked in accounts payable at Rush Enterprise. On June 28th, 1986 she married Arthur Jacobsen.
Toni was musically gifted; she was a trombone player and a Drum Major; she could pick up most any instrument for the first time and play it. Toni was crafty and loved to paint, she would make giant bows for Bluebonnet. Toni enjoyed fishing, gardening, country dancing, and tending to her many Peafowl. Toni loved animals, as a young girl, Toni loved to play with her mom’s pet bunnies, she also showed livestock in 4H. Toni loved being a mom and supporting her family, from cheering on her kids in their sports to cooking meals for the family. She was immensely proud of her children.
Toni always brought a light-hearted, warm energy to the room. She was a devoted mother and wife; her family was always her priority. She had a tender heart, and her children would tell you she is the most forgiving person - they certainly tested her forgiveness.
Toni is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Lee, Sr. and Loretta Marie Donat, her grandparents Rudolph Frederic and Antonia Bessie Vonda Donat, Bruno and Rose Ann Trybinowski Bidrowski, and her brother Richard Lee Donat, Jr.
She is survived by her husband Arthur Louis Jacobsen, her children Kennet Richard and Shea Voss Jacobsen, Ryan Louis Jacobsen, and Sydney Rose Jacobsen, her siblings Rosellyn Najjar and David Lee Donat, and her beloved pets- her dogs Yeti, Bear, Max, and Opal, her cat Rouge, and her peafowl Stevie and Snow White.
The Funeral Service will take place at St. Paul Evangelical Church on Friday, August 5, 2022, at 4:00 PM, with a Visitation for the public beginning at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you please provide wildflower seeds for the family to spread along the driveway of the Kenedy farm.
