Toni Anderson

Toni Rae Anderson , 55, of Garden Ridge, Texas passed away on August 2, 2018 in the comfort of her home. Toni Rae was born in Shreveport, Louisiana to Stonie Ray Garcie and Marguerite Dale (Roe) Garcie on June 14, 1963. Prior to moving to the San Antonio, TX area where she would meet and eventually marry her husband, Terry, Toni found success in selling light and medium duty trucks for Allen Isuzu. After the move she worked for Janoe Isuzu Trucks and then Rush Truck Centers doing the same. She took an early retirement in 2015 due to health issues. Toni was an avid fan of her son's sports teams and the biggest support and cheering section for them and Terry in every event and/or endeavor. She was greatly blessed by the opportunity to experience and introduce her children to travel. Whether at home, in the bleachers of a sporting event, or anywhere that the family travels may have taken her, Toni never met a stranger. She had a deep and meaningful prayer life and it is comfort to be assured of her beliefs, confession of faith and salvation. She could light up a room with her smile, her laughter and all around love for life.

Toni is preceded in death by her grandparents and three grandchildren, Isaiah Anderson, Matthew Anderson and Robert Rich.

She is survived by her husband: Terry R. Anderson, Children: Garrett Reed and wife Brooke, Linden Reed and wife Christy, Jonathan Anderson and wife Sharon, and Jennifer Rich and husband Scott. Her sister: Dr. Renese Garcie, Mother: Marguerite Dale Garcie, Father: Stonie Garcie, Grandchildren: Raven Reed, Timothy Nardi, August Anderson, Hannah Rich and Byron Rich as well as a host of friends.

A private ceremony was held August 6, 2018 at the Schertz Funeral Home, Schertz, TX. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Frierson Baptist Church, 299 East St, Frierson LA 71027 at 4 O'clock in the afternoon, Brother Mel Campbell officiating.
