Tommy Hunter

December 15, 1946 — January 28, 2014

Tommy Hunter, 67 years of age, residing in Schertz, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 28th in Christus Santa Rosa Hospital at San Antonio after a long battle with congestive heart failure. Surrounded by his closes family he left with the angels at 4:20 in the afternoon. Preceded in death by his mother Oma Lee Hunter, Father James William Hunter, Father-in-Law William Randell Monaghan, and brother Danny William Hunter. He is survived by his wife Bobbie Monaghan Hunter and would have celebrated their 43rd anniversary on February 6th. He is also survived by three daughtersRoya Linn Hunter with Shannon Delay and son Dylan Daniel Delay; Branda Lee Poole husband Gentry Poole with 2 granddaughters Kyra Lee Stone and Riley Grace Poole; and Molly Rose Matula husband Michael Richard Matula with granddaughter Sadie Linn Matula. He is survived by his only living brother Ronnie Joe Hunter wife Wanda Hunter and his sister-in-law Cindy Hunter. Additional in-law survivors include mother-in-law Roylene Monaghan and brothers-in-law Russell Monaghan wife Lisa Monaghan, and William Randell Monaghan, Jr. Extended family members are Paula Dionne, Heather Keinath, and Amanda Martinez. Additionally he is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral service will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 11:00AM. All services will conclude in the Chapel.
