Timothy Joseph Smith (T.J.) entered into Eternal Life on February 26, 2011. T.J. was born in Hattiesburg, MS, on March 30, 1981. T.J. loved sports, and lettered in football all four years at Clinton High School in Clinton, MS where he graduated in 1999. T.J. earned a B.S. from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2004. T.J. moved to San Antonio in 2005, and worked as a Security Guard. T.J. had a big smile, a fiery spirit, and a heart of gold. He loved life; his family; his friends; and his furry best friend, Larry. T.J. brought laughter and joy into the lives of his family. He is survived by so many who love him: his parents Timothy Smith and Shawn Owens; step parents Missy Smith, Steve Owens, and Jay Zabava; Grandparents Keith & Bobbie Smith; Billy & Leslie Smith; Aunt Cheryl Smith Hissong; Aunt Shelly Smith Fincher; Uncle Raymond Scot Smith; and precious siblings, Sally Frances, Steven Blayne, Lydia Kate, Aliza Joy, and Julianna Caroline. TJ was welcomed into Eternal Life by his Uncle Andy and Granny, among many others who have gone before him. In lieu of flowers, his family is requesting donations to the Animal Defense League of San Antonio or the Epilepsy Foundation.
