Timothy J. O’Meara (Tim), 49 years old, died suddenly of natural causes on Sunday, June 2, 2024, in his apartment in Schertz, TX.
Tim was born on July 24, 1974 in the U.S. Military Hospital in Okinawa, Japan to parents Terrance and Tomiko O’Meara.
After traveling about the world with his military family, he settled with them in the Randolph AFB area in the summer of 1984. He graduated from Randolph High School in the spring of 1992 where he played football and enjoyed participating in theater arts as well as the photography club.
Tim was a voracious collector of Star Wars and G.I. Joe memorabilia and was an avid video gamer.
Tim is survived by his daughter Kailey, 17 of San Antonio, TX; his parents Terrance and Tomiko of Universal City; his sister Kathleen Tate and her 6 children of Schertz, TX; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins in the Japan and Chicago, Illinois areas.
A special recognition and thank you to Erinn Corkins, his long time companion, confidante, and the mother of his daughter, Kailey.
The family would also like to extend a sincere thank you to all who have expressed their love and support for the O’Meara family in their time of great sorrow.
There are no plans for a memorial service at this time.
