Timothy Martin

August 14, 1962 — May 28, 2009

On May 28, 2009, Timothy Paul Martin passed away after a long and hard fought battle with cancer. Tim was born in Evreux, France to the late Lee and Shirley Martin. His enthusiasm and devotion to teaching made him a memorable figure to countless children for more than twenty years. He is best remembered for his giving nature and was always quick to lend assistance to others in need. Also, his passion for coaching youth sports engraved lasting impressions in everyone he encountered. He is survived by his daughter, Molly of Yorktown, VA; brother, Simon of Norfolk, VA and long time loving companion, Stacey of San Antonio, TX. The family would also like to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Carlos Bachier and the staff of the Texas Transplant Institute at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, TX for their patience and dedication. A memorial service will be held in Yorktown, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at 431 Isom Rd. Suite 125 San Antonio, TX. 78216.
