Timothy Grippe
October 6, 1952 — May 2, 2015
Timothy Charles Grippe was born on October 6th, 1952 and passed away on May 2nd, 2015 due to complications from a heart condition. Timothy was born in New Jersey, and grew up in Euless, Texas. He served in the Marine Corps as a Lance Corporal in the infantry and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He later went on to co-found a food delivery service which he proudly dedicated himself to until his retirement. Rarely seen without his (in)famous big grin, his jokes and quick wit will be forever missed. He was an avid poker player and especially enjoyed long nights of Texas hold 'em with his family and close friends, and loved taking trips to casinos. He is survived and missed deeply by his loving wife and partner of 21 years, Rhonda Baldwin Grippe. She took incredible care of him during his illness, and we all love her for keeping him with us for so long despite the odds. He is so greatly missed by his children Mandy and Kiley Ingle, Eric Grippe and Melissa Scogin, Melissa and Jesse Hicks, Dawn Gainey and Daniel Finnamore, Todd Grippe and Shayna Norrell, Cody Gainey, and Lynann and Justin Anthony. He was a wonderful grandfather to Jo Marie and Curtis Grippe, Allison and Matthew Villa, Joey Scogin, Braden and Bryson Anthony, J.D., Tyler, and Owen Hicks, Courtney and Justin Randall, and his two great-grandchildren, Kaydin Beall and Jaxson Randall. He is also survived by his father, Clarence Grippe, and his siblings, Nancy and Art Sahlstein, and Robyn and Craig Barrett. He will join his mother, Marion Grippe, his two brothers Rick and Steve Grippe, and his beautiful granddaughter Katie Beall in heaven. We miss you so very much, Tim/Dad/Papa/Paw-Paw/Pops/Grandpa. We love you to the moon and back! In lieu of sending flowers, we would appreciate a donation be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate.aspx
