Timothy Bell

December 28, 1949 — January 13, 2011

Timothy Earl Bell, cherished son, father and husband, went to rest with His heavenly Father on January 13, 2011. Born in Grand Forks, ND on December 28, 1949 to Edward W. Bell and Bernice A. Kearney Bell, he was raised in St. Louis Park, MN. Upon graduation from N. Dakota State U. with a BS in Physical Education in 1972, he was brought to Texas and served 2 years as a 2nd Lt. in the Army. He met Patte Milligan in San Antonio, where both were involved with the Navigator Ministry. They married in December 1976 and had four beautiful children. While working and raising his family for 10 years in San Diego CA, he earned a BA in Industrial Technology at San Diego State U. Coach Bell was a PE and Industrial Technology Teacher, and Coach for three decades, who passionately loved God and his family, sports, woodworking, and his Labradors. He is survived by his wife, Patte; his children: Tiesha, Christyl, Joseph & wife, Carla, and Jeffrey; grandchildren: Jarrett, Laurel, Emily Kay, Tanner, Truett and Taylor; Father-in-law, Dale Milligan, brother, Donald Bell & wife, Georgeann, and many extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
