Theresa Ann Hutchison, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away on February 4, 2024, in Schertz, Texas. She was born on November 6, 1951, in Beech Grove, Indiana to Ira Williams, Jr, and Irene Mary Wiliams.
Theresa's love for music and dancing guided her towards a fateful encounter at a disco where she met the love of her life, Charles Edward Hutchison. Their bond grew stronger over the 43 years they spent together, as they shared countless moments filled with joy and laughter, moved to different places including Tucson, Arizona, Panama Canal, Myrtle Beach, and San Antonio, raised three children together, and had countless adventures along the way.
As a woman of strength and determination, Theresa dedicated 45 years of her life to working in ORT Medical & Billing. Theresa had an unwavering passion for animals and loved having them as part of her home. Dogs, cats, lizards, guinea pigs, turtles, and a bird—they were all cherished members of her family. In addition to her furry companions, Theresa thoroughly enjoyed spending quality time with her loved ones. Whether it was a trip to the beach or embarking on shopping adventures and exploring new places together, she cherished every moment spent with those closest to her heart.
She is survived by her beloved husband Charles Edward Hutchison along with their children Linda K. Cilibraise, Timothy A. Brock, Kristen C. Vinyard, and Kristen's dear boyfriend, Kyle Kelly. Her mother Irene Williams, her sisters, Deborah Williams and Linda Duncan, her brothers and sister-in-law, Donald Duncan, Ted Bragdon, and Sandi Bragdon, her aunt Odell Haile, and her friend and caregiver, Cyndi Grayson, along with numerous other nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Ira Williams Jr., mother-in-law Carol Hutchison, father-in-law William Hutchison, brother-in-law David Hutchison, nephew Brandon Beaman, and her uncle Harold Haile.
Theresa's memory will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for her family and friends will forever be cherished. She touched the lives of many, leaving a beautiful legacy that will continue to inspire and bring comfort in times of sorrow.
A Visitation will be held at Schertz Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, starting at 10:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Theresa's name to an animal shelter or charity of your choice. Thank you for your generosity during this time of loss.
