Terry Robert Odom Birth: 09 May 1950, Wichita, Sedgwick County, KS Death: 27 March 2011, Cibolo, Guadalupe County, TX Terry is the second born child of Jack H and Mary A Odom; born in Wichita, Kansas 09 May 1950. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack H Odom and Mary A Odom. Terry was a high school graduate of Antonian College Preparatory for Boys in San Antonio, TX. His 1968 graduation was the first graduation class of Antonian. Terry participated in drama, choir, lettering in football, baseball and basketball. He had an infinite love of sports. Directly out of high school, Terry served his country, proudly, in the United States Air Force, 16 March 1969 thru 20 October 1981. Terrys citations: Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Ribbon, Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with One Oak Leaf Cluster. While stationed in Anchorage, Alaska, Terry became a member of the Amateur Softball Umpires Association. Returning to the lower 48, Terry became a graduate of St Philips College. Terry worked as a Physical Therapy Assistant throughout the Bexar County Metroplex, was a Life Member of Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity, a member of St Pius X Catholic Church choir, a 2nd Vice-President of Windcrest Lions Club, District 2-A2. Terry is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Lynn Marie Odom of Cibolo, Texas; Daughter, Julie Ann Buchanan, husband, James Dunn Buchanan II, of San Antonio, Texas; Daughter, Tamara Lynn Vincer, husband, Tyler Vincer of Elmhurst, Illinois; Son, Scott Anthony Odom, wife, Jessica Lynn Odom, of San Antonio, Texas; Sister, Tamara Jane Lechner, husband, Charles Norman Lechner, of Plano, Texas; Brother, Jerry James Odom of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Brother, Kerry John Odom, wife Linda Lou Odom of Kirby, Texas; Sister, Jacqueline Mary Odom of San Antonio, Texas; Two granddaughters, Canada Claire Maree Buchanan, Peyton Elizabeth Vincer; Two grandsons, Travis Steven Odom, Jack Robert Vincer; and many nieces, nephews and many more loved ones. Eternal rest grant unto Him, O Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon Him. Terrys funeral arrangements have now been set.
