Terry Murphy

May 9, 1947 — January 13, 2012

Our Paw-Paw, Dad, Husband, Brother and Friend, Terry Lee Murphy, 64, of Bulverde, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 13, 2012. Born on May 9, 1947 in Parsons, Kansas, he was the son of Eugene Murphy and the late Juanita Murphy. Terry is survived by his beloved wife, Linda; three children, Jennifer and her husband Juan Flores, Gregory and his fianc Lynette Federspill, and Joel and his wife Tracy; granddaughters, Karis and Kelsie Flores and Maxie and MacKenzie Federspill; his brother Danny and wife Margaret; his sister Nancy and husband Kenny Clark; and many nieces, nephews and family members. Terry proudly served his country for 24 years in the United States Air Force and an additional 18 years with the Department of Defense following his retirement. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Schertz Funeral Home from 5:00-9:00pm with a Celebration of his Life at 7:00pm. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 1:45 pm at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio with full military honors. Flowers arent necessary.
