Terry Lee Hogue

Terry Lee Hogue passed away unexpectedly at his home in Universal City, Texas on March 31,

2024. He was born in Idaho on January 25, 1942.

Terry enlisted in the Air Force in 1960 and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant on August 1,1980 after 20 years and 24 days when he was awarded the Meritorious Service medal with two oak leaf clusters.

Terry earned a BA degree in 1973 and a Master of Arts Degree in Management in July

1979. Following his Air Force retirement, he pursued a career with the Texas Education Service Center as a systems analyst and retired from the Center on September 30, 1999.

Terry enjoyed his 20+ years of retirement. He was an avid sports enthusiast and followed baseball and football intently with his favorite college team being the Texas Longhorns. He was an avid golfer and achieved his first hole-in-one at the Ft Sam Houston Salado Course April 19, 2011.

He was preceded in death by his parents Steele and Thelma Hogue and his sister Irene.

Terry is survived by his wife Nancy, and her two sons Tim and Shawn, and his two sons Jeff and Greg.
