Steven Malcolm

June 11, 1953 — December 2, 2011

Steven Gray Malcolm of Schertz, Texas, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2011 at the age of 58. Born on June 11, 1953 in Fort Worth, he was the son of Betty Walters Malcolm and the late Billy Gray Malcolm. Steven retired from the Navy as an Independent Duty Corpsman. He also worked for the Texas Department of Transportation and volunteered for the Cornerstone Church as Security. Steven is survived by his wife, Paula Masters Malcolm; son, Christopher Brent Malcolm and his wife, Wendy; daughter, Traci Washam and her husband Jody; six grandchildren, Krista Cooley, Kacye Jordan, Brendon Washam, Cameron Malcolm, Kelton Washam and Preston Malcolm; and brother, Mark Malcolm and his wife Nicole. Visitation will be held at the Cornerstone Church, 18755 Stone Oak Parkway, San Antonio, TX 78258 on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Services will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 9:30 AM at the Cornerstone Church. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with United States Navy Honors.
