Steven Lawry, 54, of Schertz-Cibolo, TX, passed away quietly in his home on Tuesday evening, March 8, 2011. He was born on August 11, 1956 in Hamden, CT, to Edward and Eleanor Lawry of Wallingford, CT. Steven was a manufacturing supervisor who enjoyed his work and all the people involved in his life. Steven was an outgoing and outspoken personality, much loved by friends and family. He enjoyed motorcycling, fishing and cooking. Steven is survived by his loving wife Patsy, step-son Mark Jolly in San Jose, CA, step-daughter Megan Jolly in Brooklyn, NY, three sisters Kathy Mirando, Pam Reynolds, and Suzie Lawry, and brother David Lawry. Steven had a great sense of humor and was an incredibly loyal husband, family man, and friend. Everyone who knew Steven loved him. Patsy is extremely grateful for 22 years of marriage to Steven, the love of her life. The memorial service will be held at Schertz Funeral Home, 2217 F.M. 3009 Schertz, TX 78154. Viewing will be held MARCH 12, 2011, 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM The Memorial Service will be held MARCH 12, 2011 at 12:00 NOON The Reception at the Lawry home will immediately follow the service. The home address is 3405 Wimbledon Dr., Cibolo, TX 78108. Burial will follow this following Tuesday in Connecticut. Donations in honor of the memory of Steven Lawry may be made to the San Antonio Food Bank for our city's children in need.
