On October 24, 2022, Steven Michael Drayton aka “Zoltar”, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away unexpectedly at his home in La Vernia, Texas. Steve was born August 12, 1960 in Coldwater, Michigan. After graduating Coldwater High School, Steve joined the Navy where he worked in aviation fire control and graduated from electronic school. Upon leaving the Navy, Steve moved to Australia and opened a computer store with his parents. He married his first wife and together they had a daughter. After returning to the states, Steve enrolled in college where he met and later married Donna. He worked at various establishments until he joined Aquila (Energy Transfer), February 14, 1997.
Steve is survived by his loving wife Donna, their children (his, hers, ours, theirs, and extras), two siblings, numerous grandchildren, and nephews and nieces, all of whom he loved dearly. Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Kenwood & Gisela Drayton and brother, Thomas Drayton.
Steve was known as a kind, loyal and lighthearted soul. He loved his family and the simple things in life. He was frequently found taking trips, playing on the farm and spending time with family. Driving his tractor and doing woodworking were both hobbies of Steve.
