Sophie Marie Sorrells was born September 1, 1944 in Terrell, Texas to Hodge and Sophie Lightfoot. She passed away July 15, 2019 in Schertz, Texas.

Sophie was preceded in death by her parents, Hodge and Sophie Lightfoot. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, J.D. Sorrells; son, Steven Sorrells with wife Felicia; step-daughter, Felicia Black; grandchildren, Jeremy Sorrells with wife Emily, Stony Sorrells, Cheyenne Sorrells, Leann Johnson with husband Jerry; great-granddaughters, Evelynn Johnson, Lily Johnson and Lyla Sorrells.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel.
