Sonja Yvonne Gay was called home on May 9, 2021 after a lengthy battle with ongoing health issues. Sonja was born in France on February 8, 1961 and grew up in Schertz, TX and went to Clemens High School. She lived a full life and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was married to Stefan Gay and blessed with three children, Siobhan Nicole (Jonathan) Burns, Stefan Jordan and Spencer Michael Gay. She was so happy being a grandmother to her grandsons Odin & Zachary Burns. She was a great sister to brothers Michael, David (Donna), and Leonard (Susie), sisters Kim and Karen Draper and numerous nieces and nephews. Sonja was proceeded in death by her parents Mary and Richard and brother Lewis (Chuckie) and sister Denise Draper. She will be missed by all.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, 27 May at 2:00 pm at Schertz Funeral Home with a reception following at the Clemens School Party House, 7390 Gin Rd Marion, 78124.
