Solange Hopkins, age 74 of Marion, Texas, passed away on April 10, 2009. Solange was born on April 27, 1934 to Joseph and Fernande (Ferrant) Robinet in Chasseneuil, France. She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband, Jerry. Solange is survived by her daughter, Laurie Hendrickson & husband, Mike of Marion, Texas; son, Jerry Hopkins & wife, Ellen of Houston, Texas; brother, Bernard Robinet & wife, Fancoise and sister, Yvette Mayet & husband, Camille, all of France; grandchildren, Brigette Hopkins, Aimee Hopkins, Elise Hopkins, Regina Hendrickson, and Stephanie Schuckenbrock & husband James and great-grandchildren, Vanyel Von and Lilyth Mae Schuckenbrock. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Schertz Funeral Home. Graveside Services & Interment will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Reverend Donald C. Ofsdahl officiating.
