On February 3rd, 1935 Antonia Ramirez and Jose Ramirez were blessed with a beautiful baby girl who would later become the light we know as Socorro "Cora" Mosqueda. As one of eight siblings she prided herself as being the oldest sister and valued all her time with them. Years later, she met Henry Mosqueda Sr. who she was married to in 1956. There were happily married for five years before their eldest child was born: Genevieve , followed by Henry and Teddy who blessed her with grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cora lived the rest of her days in Universal City, TX where she joined the kingdom of God on January 29, 2019. Cora is a woman remembered for her beauty and grace as she perfectly fulfilled the tasks of wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Cora is preceded in death by her husband Henry Mosqueda Sr., parents Jose and Antonio Ramirez, her siblings Albert Ramirez and Mary Gonzales. She is survived by her three children Genevieve, Henry and his wife Jessica and Teddy and his wife Rachel; her grandchildren Matt, Josh, Brina, Alexis and Mark and her great granddaughter Monica.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 5:00PM-9:00PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00PM at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 1:00PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
