SMSGT Donald L. Keller U.S.Air Force, Retired, was called home to be with the Lord on July 18, 2010. He resided in San Antonio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Clarence & Luetta Keller and brother, Robert Keller. Survivors are his wife of 47 yrs., Cynthia Thompson Keller; son, Dean Keller & wife, Sylvia of San Antonio; daughter, Shelly Jeffries & husband Donald of San Antonio; brother, Richard Keller of Lititz, PA; grandchildren, Joshua Keller & wife Mary, Amber Hughes & husband Jimmie, Heather Silva & husband Daniel, Lisa Keller, Daniel Jeffries, Derek Jeffries and great-granddaughter, Jeruzalem Silva, all of San Antonio. Don served in the United States Air Force for 26 years. He loved God and his country. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Universal City. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved his kids and grandkids with much joy. He worked with kids for many years in Tri-City baseball and football programs. He served as Baseball Commissioner, coach and umpire. He was an avid Judson Rocket fan and was a season ticket holder since 1977. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Viewing will be Wednesday, July 21, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 12:00 noon at First Baptist Church Universal City and burial to follow 1:45 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church Universal City building fund.
