SFC Elmer Lee Woodruff, U.S. Army, Retired, age 80 of Schertz, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Woodruff of Schertz, Texas; sons, Larry Woodruff & Ronda of Yoakum, Texas and Donald Woodruff & wife, Jan; daughter, Lynnette Mabee & Buzzy of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Tara, Jade, Satya, Rae Mist, Nathan and Sgt. Jeffory; nine great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives & dear friends. Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 PM (with visitation one hour prior from 11:30 AM until service time) on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Schertz United Methodist Church with Pastor Judith Sellers officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow at 2:30 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
