Sfc Army

January 1, 1930 — December 30, 2012

SFC Gerald F.Jerry DeNoble, US Army (Ret), beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, was called home by the Lord on December 30, 2012 at the age of 82 years and 364 days. He was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on January 1, 1930. Jerry married Carol Hanson on June 27, 1959. After retiring from the Army, he started locksmithing. In 1978 he opened his own business, Village Locksmith, Inc. He was preceded in death by his father, William John DeNoble; mother, Ursula (VanderLinden) DeNoble; brothers and sister-in-laws, John and Leola DeNoble; William and Louise DeNoble and his son, Bradley G. DeNoble. He is survived by his wife, Carol I. DeNoble; daughters, Cheryl DeNoble, Brenda DeNoble, sons; William DeNoble and wife, Debra; Brian DeNoble and wife, Kathy; 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many friends. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1129 Pat Booker Rd., Universal City, TX 78148 (210-658-2254) on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10:30AM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Christ the King Lutheran Church in Geralds memory. Interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery will be on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 9:45am with US Army honors.
