Savanna Kindt

August 27, 1993 — June 9, 2011

Our angel, Savanna Marie Kindt, 17, of Cibolo, left us too soon in a car accident on June 9, 2011. Savanna is preceded in death by her grandfather, Billy Adams. She is survived by her parents, Geoff and Diana Kindt; her sisters, Emily, Reganne and Sabrina; her grandparents, Willa Kindt, Wilma Adams and Merlin Kindt and many other beloved friends and family. Savanna was a recent graduate of Steele High School where she played for the Lady Knights soccer team and was an award-winning member of the Cibolo Creek FFA. Savanna dedicated much of her time to local humane societies and animal shelters. She even fostered animals through Homes for Pets. Savanna planned to attend Angelo State University in the fall to begin her studies to become a large animal vet. Savanna touched the lives of many people with her kind heart and caring spirit. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and always remembered as a truck-loving, boot-wearing, pig-raising girl. A Viewing and Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Monday, June 13, 2011 at Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations may be made in Savannas name to the Humane Society at www.humanesociety.org.
