Saundra Hoffman

Saundra Sue Hoffman was born on December 11, 1946 in Austin, TX to Slaton and Annie Stephens.  She went to be with the Lord on December 10, 2019.  Sandy and her parents enjoyed living as a military family stationed in Italy.  Sandy also enjoyed visiting her grandparents.  Saundra returned to Texas, where she met and later married Sidney Hoffman on October 4, 1964.  They went on to raise a loving family and have a great life.  Sandy worked mostly as a teacher’s aide and vet tech.  Sandy loved watching her kids play and coach sports and later she went on to love watching her grandkids in all their activities.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Sidney Hoffman, son Michael Hoffman (Sylvia), daughter Laura Hoffman, son Stephen Hoffman (Emily), son John Hoffman (Mary), daughter Rebecca, sisters Lea Sandoz and Sheri McClendon, grandchildren Jacob Hoffman (Daisy). Sarah Hoffman, Delaney Hoffman, Blake Hoffman, Caroline Hoffman, Allison Hoffman, Brayden Hoffman, Tyler Hoffman, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday December 18, 2019 at 7pm at Schertz Funeral Home.
