Sarah Scheunemann
January 16, 1919 — May 17, 2011
Sarah R. Scheunemann, formerly of Sheboygan, WI, entered eternal life on May 17, 2011 at the age of 92 years. She had been a resident of Prairie Estates Health and Rehabilitation Center in Frisco, Texas for the past 3 years. Sarah Rita (Bolgard) Scheunemann was born on January 16, 1919, in Sheboygan to John and Elizabeth (Miller) Bolgard. She was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church and graduated from Trinity Lutheran School. She attended Cosmetology School in Milwaukee and was employed by HC Prange Department Store and Sheboygan Drygoods. On April 6, 1944, she was united in marriage to Harvey G. Scheunemann of Vesper, WI, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Harvey G. Scheunemann, daughter, Carol Mae (Paul) Ryson, three brothers, Christian Reimer, Henry Reimer and John Bolgard and sisters, Freida Reimer, Emily Bolgard and Lorraine Clevenger. Sarah is survived by her daughter, Dianne (Jerry) Walth of McKinney, TX. She was a loving grandmother to four granddaughters, Karen (Kenny) Paulk, Charlyn (Michael) Lathem, Jennifer (Donnie) McCartney and Lindsay (Dax) Rutherford. She will be remembered by 8 great-grandchildren, Kelly, Kyle, Peyton, Mason, Colby, Tyler, Chad and Shane. She will also be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews, including Gene (Sandy) Clevenger, Tomahawk, WI. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 27, 2011 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX, with Pastor Ralph Reitmeyer of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Universal City, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Alzheimers Association, North Central TX Chapter, 101 Summit Ave, Suite 300, Fort Worth, Texas, 76102.
