Sandra Cronan Sowders, age 51 of Schertz, TX passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 6, 2017. She was born August 11, 1965 in Athens, TN and was a 1983 graduate of Southwest High School in Jacksonville, NC.Sandra is most remembered as being a beautiful person inside and out. She was loving, caring, kind, generous, sincere, and strong. She put others before herself and always did her best to make you feel comfortable and happy. She loved to make people laugh and had a beautiful smile like a big ray of sunshine. Sandra loved to pray for and with people. Her faith and love of God shows through her family and friends she leaves behind.She is survived by her daughter Lauren Kennedy (Judd), son Evan Sowders (Kristen), grandson Colson Kennedy, father William Sherman Cronan, Sr. (Linda), mother Ida Cronan-Yopp (Robbie), brother William Sherman Cronan, Jr. (Billie), and sister Sherry Cronan Watts (Jim), father of her children James D. Sowders (Andrea), nephews Michael Clark and Nicholas Watts, niece Ashley Cronan, great nephews Bentley Wise, Ayden and Owen Clark, and many other beloved family and friends.Sandra, you were a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. You are a beautiful life gone too soon from all who knew you. You are loved and will forever remain in our hearts.The funeral service will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 11:AM . In lieu of flowers, monetary contribution may be made toward the funeral.
