Sandra Pipkin

April 25, 1944 — January 13, 2014

Sandra Kathryn Pipkin was born on April 25, 1944 and passed away on January 13, 2014 at the age of 69 years. Sandy lost her 12 1/2 year battle with Alzheimer's at home with her family by her side. Sandy was born in New Braunfels to Joe and Gloria(Schnautz) Clennan. She was preceded in death by both her mother and father, and father-in-law, Glenn "G.A." Pipkin, Sr. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Glenn "Butch" Pipkin; their daughter Brandee Dickinson and husband Drew; two grandsons Riley and Kyle Dickinson; brother Randy Clennan and wife Mary; brother Steve Clennan; mother-in-law Mary "Bobbie" Pipkin; sister-in-law Jo Ann Flocks; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sandy always had a smile on her face, and had a laugh that would fill a room. She loved to travel, and was always ready for the next adventure with her family. She was an amazing artist, decorator, seamstress, and cook. There was beauty in everything she touched. She always had a project going, and wasn't afraid of trying something new. Her favorite past time was taking long walks and gardening. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held at Schertz Funeral Home at 10:30AM on Saturday, January 25, 2014. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Sandy's name may be made to Cima Hospice, 300 Landa St.,New Braunfels, TX 78130.
