Sandra Dennis

December 9, 1943 — January 25, 2014

Our loving Mother & Grandmother, Sandra J. "Sandy" Dennis, born on December 9, 1943, passed away on January 25, 2014, at the age of 70. Sandy was an avid reader and enjoyed participating on local dart teams, spending time with her family and with her faithful companion pit bull, "Missy." Her husband, Richard H. "Dickie" Dennis, brothers, Roy Travis & Larry Dean Sherbert, granddaughter, Jocelyn Dennis, and brother-in-law, David Dennis, preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, Richard Lee & Tabitha Dennis, and Rick & Mona Schuster; daughters and sons-in-law, Terri Lynn & Russell Schultze, and Jeanne & Cecil Tarrants; grandchildren, Rachel, Angela, & Julia Schuster, Amy Lynn & Cole Schultze, Tyler & Ryan Bird; sisters & brothers-in-law, Mary Ellen & Michael McGee, and Lee Ann & Charles Garrett; brothers, James & Michael Sherbert; and sister-in-law, Barbara Dennis. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014, at 3:00PM, at Schertz Funeral Home. All services will conclude in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Sandy's memory to the American Red Cross.
