Ryan M. Johns, age 24 of Helotes, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2008. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane Bearfield McCombs in 2004. He is survived by his loving father, Malcolm R. Johns & his partner, Jim Orlowski, both of Helotes; grandparents, Willie & Wilma Bearfield of San Antonio; step-grandmother, Lucille Johns of Fulton, KY; brother, Zachary A. Johns; sister, Chelsea J. Johns, both of Helotes; aunt & uncle, Mark & Carolyn Bearfield and numerous other aunts, uncles & cousins. Ryan loved his family first and foremost, but his special interests included the love of music and basketball. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM (with the family receiving friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM) on Sunday, December, 14, 2008 at Schertz Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 15, 2008 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Willie Bearfield officiating, Ryans grandfather. Interment will be held privately at Mission North Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
