Ryan Anthony Coldren was born on June 24, 2001 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to parents, Robert Coldren and Janet Smiley. He passed away on October 27, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas.
From a young age, Ryan showed a love for the game of basketball. He was an avid San Antonio Spurs fan, a 4 year basketball player at Mitchell High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado and even volunteered with youth basketball programs. Ryan was a bright, active young man with a million dollar smile. Ryan attended Life Chapel in Colorado Springs. He will be missed by many family and friends, including Mitchell High school and people all over the country. Ryan was especially loved by his little brother, Joshua, who describes him as "the best big brother ever"!
Ryan is survived by his father, Robert Coldren of Marion, Texas; mother, Janet Smiley of Colorado Springs, Colorado; brother, Joshua Coldren of Marion, Texas; Grandparents, Gary and Kerry Coldren of Marion, Texas, Rick and Sue Smiley of Colorado Springs, Colorado and great grandmother, Martha Foster.
A visitation will be held from 4:00PM - 8:00PM on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Service will take place at 6:00PM on Friday, November 1, 2019 at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel.
A Memorial Service Service will be held November 16th at 10:00AM at Church For all Nations (6540 Templeton Gap Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80923)
