Ruthy Dee Brawley, born on April 26, 1934, passed away on November 14, 2014, at the age of 80. She spent many years in the insurance industry, working for American States Insurance and Regal Oil. Her parents, Odis and Ruth Harris; granddaughter, Morgan Clark; brother, Elton O. Harris; and nephew, Elton O. Harris II, preceded her in death. Survivors include her son, Michael Brawley; daughter, Carla Dillard; grandsons, Craig and Larry Dillard; 7 great-granddaughters; 1 great-grandson; niece, Tammy Harris; and sister-in-law, Martha Harris. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, from 5:00PM-9:00PM, at Schertz Funeral Home. The Graveside Service will be on Thursday, November 20, 2014, at 12:00PM, at Schleicher County Cemetery, 888 West US Hwy 190, Eldorado, TX, 76936, Pastor Robert Dillard officiating.
