Ruth Brundige

November 24, 1922 — July 23, 2011

Ruth Brundige, age 88 of New Braunfels, TX, passed away on July 23, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents, Newell & Bessie Jernigan. Ruth is survived by her husband, Andrew B. Brundige of New Braunfels; son, John C. Speed & wife, Carole of New Braunfels; grandchildren, Tracy Dietz & husband, Wade of Schertz and Trisha McBrayer & husband, Chad of San Antonio and four great-grandchildren. Ruth worked for Consolidated Agencies of San Antonio. She was the former President of the Alamo Chapter of the American Business Womens Association. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Schertz Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at San Fernando Cemetery III.
