Rudolfo "Rudy" F. Rodriguez, of San Antonio, TX, passed away on December 6, 2015 at the age of 77. Rudy spent his life serving in multiple areas of law enforcement, and was a proud member of the Texas Rangers. He was preceded in death by his mother: Jesusa Flores Rodriguez; son: Rudy James Rodriguez, and brother: Doroteo Hernandez. Rudy is survived by his loving wife of nearly 30 years, Concepcion F. Rodriguez; son: John D. Rodriguez; daughters: Martha Nunez & husband, Carlos and Cynthia Chavana & husband, Ervin; siblings: Mary Lou Talamantez & husband, Porfirio, Esmeregildo Rodriguez, and Helen Oppelt & husband, Alfred; and grandchildren: Kylie Rodriguez, Mattea Rodriguez, Matthew Rodriguez and Trey Chavana. Visitation will be held from 4:00PM-8:00PM, on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00PM at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be recited at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma, Texas with interment following at Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the charity of your choice.
